Summary The Dealer Development Manager is the strategic architect of the Skeeter distribution network. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, you are responsible for the health, profitability, and operational alignment of our North American dealer partners. You will lead a specialized team of three Regional Dealer Development Representatives to ensure that every dealer in our network is a high-performing extension of the Skeeter factory—delivering "clean," buildable, and profitable orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Direct and mentor three Regional Dealer Development Representatives, holding them accountable for territory growth, dealer training standards, and network KPI performance.

Network Integrity: Act as the EVP’s lead strategist in vetting new dealer opportunities while cultivating and maintaining a healthy partnership with existing dealers.

Operational Excellence: Ensure the "Quality of the Deal." You are the final gatekeeper, ensuring that all trucks sold via the regional teams are technically buildable within the Skeeter factory capabilities and meet strict profit margin requirements.

Process Mastery: Serve as the internal expert on the FAST-quoting system, ensuring your regional team and their respective dealers maintain 100% data integrity from initial quote to final build.

The "Voice of the Factory": Bridge the gap between engineering and the field. Participate in high-stakes Pre-Construction meetings and ensure the dealer network understands factory constraints and production timelines.

Strategic Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing department to equip your regional team with the tools needed for local trade shows and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

Management Experience: Proven ability to lead a remote team of professional representatives in a high-stakes, technical sales environment.

Manufacturing IQ: Extensive experience in a production factory environment is a must. You must understand how custom vehicles move through a manufacturing line.

Elite Communication: High proficiency in negotiating with "High-Profile" customers (Fire Chiefs, Municipal Directors) and representing the brand to Dealer Principals.

Technical Skillset: Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and complex web-based configuration/quoting tools.

Education and/or Experience

AS or BS in Business, Engineering, or Marketing preferred.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 30% for dealer site visits, customer inspections, and factory support.

Must be based primarily on-site at the Hillsboro, TX factory.
