DesignYourBasement is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data related to our projects, clients, and operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth workflow and reliable record-keeping across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input, update, and maintain company data in internal systems
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct them promptly
Organize and manage digital files, records, and documents
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and client information
Generate reports and summaries as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and completion
Perform regular data backups and quality checks
Assist with administrative tasks when required
Requirements
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar administrative role
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
Basic knowledge of data management systems
Good typing speed and computer literacy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification is a plus)
