Are you a Physical Therapy Assistant with passion for improving the lives of seniors? As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) with West Bloomfield Health and Rehabilitation Center you will assist the Physical Therapists in providing care to help patients to regain functional independence. Attention to detail, individualized care, and participation in a team approach are part of every interaction.

Responsibilities
Performs treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record.
Supervise the direct patient care activities of the Rehab Aids
Coordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department.
Participates in resident care conferences, Restorative Team meetings, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.
Participates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
Qualifcations
Graduate of an approved PTA program
Current PTA license
Long term care experience preferred
