Personal Injury Intake Specialist
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Personal Injury Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients. In this role, you will gather critical information, assess case viability, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for individuals seeking legal representation after an injury. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and comfortable handling sensitive situations with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients
Conduct initial client interviews to gather facts about accidents, injuries, and damages
Evaluate cases based on firm criteria and elevate qualified leads to attorneys or case managers
Accurately enter and maintain client information in the case management system
Request and organize supporting documentation (e.g., police reports, medical records, insurance information)
Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the intake process
Schedule consultations and coordinate with legal staff
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and legal intake procedures
Provide compassionate customer service to clients during stressful situations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1–3 years of experience in a legal, call center, or client-facing role (personal injury experience preferred)
Strong communication and active listening skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with CRM or case management software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
