Commercial Roofing Production Superintendent

Job Functions
Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and commercial roofing projects.
Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings.
Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans and specifications to be able to properly plan out jobs and perform work accordingly within schedules and budgets.
Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GC’s, Building Owners, Owners Representatives, Consultants, Project Managers, Accounting, Operations, Field Personnel, Etc.) before, during and after job completion.
Instruct the best practices for roofing production.
Ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times.
Ensure jobs are completed in the most efficient and most cost effective manner.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary; +8 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial roofing or general contractor experience preferred.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Skilled in writing reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Comfortable working at heights and able to safely position an extension ladder for roof inspections and surveys.
Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Compensation Salary $75-95K + Bonus
