Director Of National Accounts

The Director of National Accounts is a senior-level revenue driver responsible for expanding BHC's national group sales footprint and delivering measurable production growth for both The Charleston Place and The Cooper. This role requires a disciplined, proactive sales executive with a strong luxury background and established national relationships. The Director will develop and execute strategic account plans, cultivate new business opportunities, and position BHC's portfolio as a premier urban resort destination for high-value group business. Success in this role is defined by balanced revenue performance across both hotels, strategic account growth, and the ability to elevate BHC's presence within the luxury marketplace. Key Responsibilities Drive national group sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned annual production goals for The Charleston Place and The Cooper. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for key national clients. Proactively solicit and secure new luxury group business through established relationships, targeted outreach, and industry engagement. Position BHC's collection including The Charleston Place, The Cooper, and its hospitality and entertainment assets as a fully integrated luxury destination. Maintain a disciplined and measurable sales pipeline within Delphi, ensuring accurate forecasting and production reporting. Strengthen and expand existing national accounts through consistent engagement and revenue optimization strategies. Represent BHC at major industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Management, Marketing, Conference Services, and Property Operations to maximize conversion rates, protect rate integrity, and enhance overall account profitability. Performance Expectations Achieve or exceed annual group revenue and room night production targets across both hotels. Maintain a proactive, diversified national account pipeline supporting balanced growth. Deliver sustained year-over-year production growth within assigned accounts. Contribute strategically to the continued positioning of BHC as a leading luxury urban resort destination. Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of progressive luxury hotel or resort sales experience, with demonstrated production success. Proven track record of driving national account revenue and securing high-value group business. Established network of national decision-makers and buyers within the luxury segment. Strong negotiation, closing, and strategic account management capabilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with disciplined execution and strong business acumen. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with polished executive presence. Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across disciplines. Proficiency in Delphi and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel a minimum of 25%. BHC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
