Fort Dix, NJ . The
Junior IT Specialist
will provide Tier 1 end-user support to active‑duty personnel, ensuring mission‑critical systems remain operational in a secure environment. This role directly supports service members by keeping their technology reliable, secure, and ready for operational use.
Responsibilities
Providing Tier 1 help desk and end‑user support for physical IT devices in an on‑site environment
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including system reimaging and device configuration
Managing and resolving service requests through a Remedy‑based ticketing system
Supporting a two‑person Field Service Representative (FSR) team working directly with government officials
Qualifications
2+ years of experience with IT
Hands‑on experience with system reimaging, hardware troubleshooting, and software support
Familiarity with Remedy or similar IT service management (ITSM) tools
Active Secret Security Clearance
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (Sec+ or equivalent)
One of the following Microsoft Fundamentals certification (MS900, AZ900, AI900, DP900, AB900, MB910, MB920, PL900, or SC900)
Compensation
Salary Range: $34.35/hr
