
Tax Senior, Financial Services

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Senior, Financial Services, to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Draft and review federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals in the financial services industry
Advise on tax planning and consulting for investment partnerships, including carried interest calculations, management fee analysis, and income allocations
Guide clients on tax structuring, compliance, and reporting for financial products and alternative investments
Conduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda on complex issues, including partnership allocations, foreign reporting, and withholding tax matters
Mentor, train, and supervise junior staff and interns, reviewing their work and providing feedback
Partner with managers and partners to deliver high-quality client service
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and prompt issue resolution
Monitor emerging tax legislation and assess its potential impact on clients
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of public accounting experience
Financial services industry
Solid understanding of partnership taxation and investment fund structures
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office
