
Commercial Electrician

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team. Job will require you to be dependable and hard working. We want to provide the best service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
· Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
· Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
· Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
· Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
· Fully understanding local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems
· Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
· All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Skills:
· You will be face to face with customers, so honesty, courtesy and attitude are very important.
· Proven experience as an electrician
· Experience in commercial electrical systems
· Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and able to follow prints and instructions
· Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
· Self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
Qualifications:
· Valid journeyman (Required)
· 5-10 years extensive experience as a low-voltage electrician
· Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment.
· Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
· Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
· Physical stamina and dexterity for handling electrical components and tools
· Be able to stand, lift and climb stairs
· Be able to lift up to 50lbs
· U.S. Citizenship Required
· Ability to pass a background check

Compensation / Schedule:
· 8 hour shift
· Weekends as needed
· Overtime pay (As need)
· Some projects may be Davis–Bacon classified and will include the applicable prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits.
Travel requirement:
· Willing to travel
