Nature of Work Under supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in recording court proceedings, processing and distributing court documents; performs related duties as assigned.

Typical Duties Illustrative Only

Processes and distributes confidential documents

Manages case files

Attends, prepares documents and summarizes decisions reached in court hearings

Processes and distributes judicial orders and legal documents at the direction of the Judge

Updates Court and Judge's calendars based on court orders

Schedules court hearings and trials

Processes case information into software system

Completes minute entry from court hearings and trial proceedings

Certifies documents

Coordinates deliberation rooms for Jury Trials

Prepares and transfers bind over felony cases to Superior Court

Assists in training staff

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of progressively responsible clerical work: OR

Associate's degree in a related field and one year of progressively responsible clerical work experience in a Justice Court environment: OR

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
