Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Actions & Operations Specialist with a strong background in corporate action functions, process transformation, and middle-office operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, enhancing process design accuracy, and supporting system and contract lifecycle improvements.
This role requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can bridge business and technology, contribute to Agile delivery models, and support end-to-end implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as an SME for Corporate Actions, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with market standards Support process transformation initiatives, improving operational workflows and controls Assist in project management (PM) activities, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination Design and optimize end-to-end processes, including trade lifecycle and contract management Ensure process design accuracy and alignment with business and regulatory requirements Collaborate with technology teams on system design, enhancements, and implementation Work within middle-office functions, supporting trade validation, settlements, and reconciliations Evaluate and strengthen operational controls and risk frameworks Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and drive delivery outcomes Support end-to-end implementation, including testing (UAT), deployment, and post-production validation Engage with stakeholders across business, operations, and IT teams in both virtual and in-person settings
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Corporate Actions and Middle Office Operations Strong understanding of corporate action lifecycle events (dividends, mergers, splits, etc.) Proven experience in process design, transformation, and optimization Solid knowledge of operational controls, risk, and compliance frameworks Experience with system design and implementation projects Familiarity with end-to-end contract lifecycle management Hands-on experience working in Agile environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills Ability to operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide strategic insights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale transformation or migration programs Exposure to financial services or capital markets environments Prior experience working with cross-functional global teams
