High school graduate or equivalent Systems design experience with Security Surveillance, Access Control and Intrusion detection systems NICET Security certification ASIS International Advanced Security Worldwide Manufacture's equipment certifications At Least 3-5 years of AutoCAD experience (preferably Revit experience) Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years of systems design experience Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code Knowledge of Security systems and manufacturer's equipment Industrial design experience Job Duties
Perform computer-aided drafting and design of Life Safety and Security Systems for our client’s advanced facilities. Responsibility for delivery of complex packages in coordination with multi-disciplinary engineers and design leads that form the core of our Life safety Systems delivery team. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers; from those 3D BIM models, design Security Surveillance, Access Control and Intrusion detection systems. Perform calculations, apply NFPA and ICC codes, and other standards to model content, and specify equipment as directed by the engineering staff. Additional Information
