ROLE SNAPSHOT Incedo is looking for a sharp, intellectually curious Data & AI Solutioning leader to accelerate growth across our banking practice — spanning both existing client expansion and new client acquisition (NCA). This is a presales and solutions role at its core: you are the person who walks into a room with a banking client or prospect, quickly diagnoses what is broken or underserved in their data and AI landscape, and crafts a compelling, credible solution narrative that wins the engagement.

You will anchor to one of our three core banking verticals — Retail Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), or Wealth Management — and use that domain depth as your lens to problem‑solve across the full Incedo Data & AI portfolio. You have built and grown a Data & AI practice within a consulting firm, so you understand what it takes to translate client problems into winning proposals — including highly competitive RFP responses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Client Problem‑Solving & Solution Development

Engage CIOs, Chief Data Officers, LOB Data Heads, and senior technology leaders as a thought partner — rapidly diagnosing data and AI challenges and shaping solution narratives that resonate

Translate complex banking business problems into conceptual Data & AI solution blueprints across the full spectrum: data engineering, cloud migration, analytics, data science, and data products

Lead client discovery workshops, executive briefings, and solution presentations — driving the conversation from problem definition through to a compelling commercial proposal

Partner with Incedo's delivery and architecture teams to pressure‑test solution designs and ensure every commitment is credible and deliverable

Apply GenAI tooling actively in your own solutioning workflow — accelerating how quickly you can develop, iterate, and present solution options

New Client Acquisition & Existing Account Expansion

Serve as the primary solutioning resource on NCA pursuits — partnering with BD and account teams to convert prospect interest into closed engagements

Support expansion within existing banking accounts by identifying unmet data and AI needs, crafting new service narratives, and building business cases that resonate with client stakeholders

Contribute to pipeline development by shaping the solution angle on targeted opportunities — bringing differentiated thinking and sharp storytelling to every pursuit

Engage prospects early in the buy cycle to shape requirements in Incedo's favor before formal RFPs are issued

RFP & Proposal Response

Lead or co‑lead the response to formal RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from banking clients and prospects — owning the solution narrative, differentiators, and win themes

Develop high‑quality written proposals that clearly articulate Incedo's approach, methodology, team credentials, and differentiated value — tailored to the specific context of each pursuit

Coordinate across internal stakeholders (delivery leads, SMEs, pricing) to assemble proposal responses that are both technically credible and commercially competitive

Maintain and continuously improve a library of reusable proposal assets, solution descriptions, and client‑facing case studies specific to banking Data & AI

Practice Enablement & Go‑to‑Market

Contribute to developing Incedo's banking Data & AI point‑of‑view — including offerings, solution frameworks, and thought leadership content

Identify and curate reusable intellectual capital: solution accelerators, client‑ready frameworks, and industry‑specific data product blueprints

Represent Incedo at industry forums, conferences, and client advisory events — reinforcing our credibility as a banking Data & AI authority

Mentor and guide junior team members on solutioning, proposal development, and client engagement best practices

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Banking Domain Experience

15+ years of experience in consulting, systems integration, or technology services — with a significant portion in financial services / banking

Deep domain expertise anchored in at least one of: Retail Banking (lending, deposits, payments, collections), Corporate & Investment Banking (capital markets, risk, treasury), or Wealth Management (advisory, portfolio management, client data)

Demonstrated ability to speak the language of senior banking executives — connecting data and AI capabilities to P&L, regulatory, and operational imperatives

Data & AI Breadth

Broad working knowledge across the Data & AI value chain — sufficient to lead solution conversations without being a practitioner:

Cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Fabric / Synapse, AWS/GCP equivalents

Analytics & BI: self‑service analytics, embedded analytics, Power BI / Tableau

Data products & governance: data product thinking, data contracts, metadata management, lineage

Fluent in current AI and GenAI trends — LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic AI, AI‑assisted analytics — and their specific applicability in banking contexts

Able to critically assess where GenAI adds genuine value vs. where it is hype, and advise clients accordingly

Commercial & Practice‑Building Track Record

Experience building a Data & AI consulting practice within a services firm — having contributed significantly to growing a practice from early‑stage to scale

Demonstrated track record of winning engagements through superior solutioning — clients chose you because your solution was the most thoughtful, not because of relationships alone

Hands‑on experience responding to RFPs and RFIs in banking or financial services technology — including ownership of solution narrative, win themes, and proposal structure

Skilled at structuring commercial models — T&M, outcome‑based, managed services — and understanding how to frame them compellingly for different buyer personas

History of developing new service offerings, not just packaging existing ones
