Overview

Capstone Investment Advisors, a global asset management firm, seeks a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to design, plan, and execute investor events across in‑person, hybrid, and virtual platforms while supporting digital marketing and thought‑leadership initiatives. Responsibilities and Impact

Event Management Plan, manage, and oversee all phases of investor events, including webinars, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, roundtables, and large‑scale summits (300+ attendees). Collaborate with Client Solutions to develop and vet attendee lists using Cvent, Backstop, and other platforms. Secure sponsorship dollars and drive event attendance (target: $650K in GVS sponsor dollars and 3 new managers for GVS in 2026). Source and secure venues, catering, speakers, vendors, and supplies; negotiate contracts to meet budget and event requirements. Track event budgets in Excel, working with accounts payable to ensure timely vendor payments and receipt of sponsorship fees. Coordinate speakers to guarantee compelling presentations and agendas. Report weekly on event attendance using registration platforms and CRM systems; develop comprehensive stakeholder reports. Drive 20% automation and 100% centralization of event processes; implement Cvent/Backstop API integration and transition to a new webcast provider in 2026. Marketing & Communications Support Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns for events, including LinkedIn posts, email invitations, reminders, and distribution list management. Support the development of event agendas; source speakers, ideate topics, and prepare content to position Capstone as a thought leader. Update and maintain event pages, registration forms, and related web content. Design communication strategies across websites, invitations, reminders, and social media to maximize attendance and engagement. Collaborate with Graphic Design to ensure all event materials adhere to Capstone’s Brand 2.0 guidelines. Skills

2‑4 years of event management experience, preferably in investor relations, corporate events, or financial services. Proven track record of managing large‑scale events (100+ attendees) across multiple formats. Strong budget management and vendor payment tracking skills. Proficiency in event management platforms (Cvent preferred) and CRM systems (Backstop or similar). Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management skills. Strong project management and multitasking abilities with tight deadlines. Exceptional communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. Digital marketing and social media promotion experience (LinkedIn, email campaigns). Benefits & Compensation

Competitive base salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 USD, plus annual incentive plan and performance‑based incentives.
