Position Overview We are seeking a

Senior Superintendent

to lead field operations across high-impact roadway and structural projects. This is a

hands‑on leadership role

for a seasoned professional who thrives in the field and understands how to translate complex engineering plans into successful project delivery.

You will serve as the

on‑site authority , driving production, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are executed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Field Leadership & Execution

Direct all daily field operations including

labor crews, equipment utilization, and subcontractor coordination

Lead project execution from mobilization through closeout with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency

Maintain a visible, hands‑on presence on-site to drive accountability and performance

Structural & Civil Project Oversight

Oversee construction of

bridges, highway interchanges, retaining walls, and complex concrete structures

Manage sequencing and phasing of critical structural components, including large‑scale pours and formwork systems

Ensure alignment between field execution and engineering design intent

Technical & Plan Interpretation

Interpret and execute

DOT specifications, engineering drawings, and contract documents

Proactively identify constructability challenges and implement field‑driven solutions

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve design or scope issues

Schedule & Cost Control

Develop and maintain

short‑interval schedules and daily production tracking

Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and equipment usage to ensure financial targets are met

Provide accurate field reporting and forecasting to project leadership

Safety & Compliance

Champion a

zero‑incident safety culture

across all job sites

Enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards through proactive leadership and training

Conduct regular site audits, safety meetings, and incident prevention initiatives

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent

in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction

Proven track record delivering

DOT and municipal infrastructure projects

Strong expertise in

structural concrete, bridge work, and roadway construction

Advanced ability to read and interpret

construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules

Experience managing

field budgets, production tracking, and cost controls

Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and team management skills

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites across the Greater Denver area

Ability to provide

professional references
