Construction Superintendent

Ability to work with and knowledge of multiple construction trades Ability to proficiently work with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel Have driver’s license and own transportation Ability to work all shifts and days Required to have a minimum of 10 years experience with construction in the power industry. Required to have 5 years experience directing craft labor on construction projects in the power industry. This individual provides daily direction and supervision to the General Foremen on the project. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance. Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
