Valuation Senior or Manager – Intangible Assets and Complex Financial Instruments
to join our
Accounting Advisory Valuation
team. If you're ready to take on complex valuation engagements and grow your career in a dynamic, high‑growth advisory firm, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do You’ll work on high‑impact valuation projects that support financial reporting and strategic decision‑making for our clients. Your day‑to‑day may include:
Performing valuation analyses for financial reporting, including purchase price allocations (ASC 805) and impairment testing (ASC 350/360)
Developing models for complex financial instruments such as derivatives, contingent consideration, earnouts, and equity‑based compensation
Managing engagement workflows from kickoff through delivery to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction
Communicating valuation methodologies, key assumptions, and conclusions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
Preparing well‑documented workpapers and reports to support audit readiness and internal quality standards
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to solve technical accounting and valuation challenges
Monitoring project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying risks and inefficiencies
Supporting practice development through enhancements to valuation models, templates, and processes
Contributing to a collaborative team environment through knowledge sharing and mentorship
Staying current on valuation techniques, financial reporting guidance, and market trends
What You’ll Bring We know great candidates come from a variety of backgrounds. Typically, we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
3+ years of valuation experience in consulting, public accounting, or professional services
Experience building valuation models for complex financial instruments (derivatives, equity awards, convertible instruments, or contingent consideration)
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fair value measurement concepts
Experience with advanced modeling tools such as Excel add‑ins, @Risk, Crystal Ball, MATLAB, or similar (preferred)
Progress toward or completion of a professional designation such as ASA, ABV, or CFA (preferred)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both written and verbally
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
Client‑facing professionalism with strong relationship‑building skills
