Real Estate Loan Closings Specialist

Our client, a real estate debt & equity investment firm, is seeking a Loan Closer to manage loan executions across its lending platform. This role sits between the Investment and Asset Management teams, owning the closing process during the final weeks of each transaction. Responsibilities: Drive loan closings from final underwriting through funding Prepare funding memos, coordinate settlement statements, and manage wire logistics Track signature packages and coordinate closely with title and legal counsel Act as liaison across investment, accounting, legal, and servicing teams Oversee onboarding of loans with servicers and manage document retention Transition closed loans to Asset Management Qualifications: 5+ years experience in loan closings, real estate finance, structured credit, or transaction coordination. Strong understanding of loan documentation and closing mechanics. Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume transaction environment. Comfortable working cross-functionally with investment professionals, attorneys, and operational teams.
