Finance Underwriter – contingent resource assignment with a 6‑month contract at $65+ per week. Locations: Irving, TX; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA. Primary responsibilities include underwriting moderately complex commercial/business loan & lease requests, evaluating creditworthiness, maintaining risk ratings, performing periodic portfolio reviews, and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to support business objectives.

Experience collaborating with internal/external business partners
Job Summary In this contingent resource assignment, the Finance professional will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Finance. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing multi‑faceted, long‑term financial challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors, contributing to the resolution of complex situations, and ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategic collaboration with client personnel is essential.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Lead or participate in underwriting moderately complex commercial/business loan and lease requests
Conduct in‑depth research and evaluation of creditworthiness
Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits
Maintain risk ratings and update systems of record
Approve loans/leases within delegated authority; recommend those above authority
Collaborate with underwriting peers, colleagues, and middle‑level managers
Work with internal and external partners to gather information for underwriting decisions
Support business objectives through accurate, timely underwriting and documentation
