Position Overview
Apollo is seeking an individual to join its expanding Institutional Client Group to drive AUM growth for its Fixed Income Replacement business. Key responsibilities include: Lead communication, engagement, and relationship building efforts with clients to drive AUM growth within Apollo's U.S. Corporates channel Responsible for driving the scaling of key relationships with U.S. Corporates to maximize fundraising outcomes Accountable for raising assets across various strategies from the U.S. Corporate channel with a near-term focus on Fixed Income Replacement Strive to increase client touchpoints and product ecosystem intimacy with clients to enhance Apollo's brand/strategy awareness During fundraising periods, be on the road with and without investment professionals, utilizing product expertise to drive investors to fulsome diligence and closing. Partner with Product Management team to coordinate the appropriate coverage for a range of investor dialogues, capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities. Provide feedback on portfolio-driven content crafted by product managers. Provide idea generation and perspectives to ensure marketing materials (i.e., pitchbooks, white papers), reflect product perspectives, market intel, and client requirements. Give perspective on annual meeting content ideation and themes. Possess a track record of leading dialogue with sophisticated institutional investors and positioning direct lending strategies in a compelling and differentiated manner. Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of relevant work experience in Fund Marketing and/or Investor Relations Extensive client and/or investing experience required Significant amount of travel required, with an expectation of 80% client facing In-depth industry knowledge Driven, commercial, self-starter with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial predisposition Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of internal and external constituents Strong writing skillset, strong analytical and quantitative skills Uncompromising integrity and professionalism Capacity to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information Pay Range
