We are seeking a driven, competitive, and highly motivated Logistics Account Executive (Freight Broker) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants the opportunity to build a book of business, create strong income potential, and grow in a fast-paced sales environment. No logistics experience is required, but this is not an easy or low-pressure job. It requires focus, urgency, resilience, and a willingness to consistently put in the work. Freight brokerage can be exciting, rewarding, and financially meaningful for the right person. It can also be volatile, stressful, and demanding. Markets change quickly, problems happen in real time, and success often comes down to effort, discipline, and the ability to stay sharp under pressure. We want candidates to understand exactly what they are signing up for. Responsibilities Develop and grow a book of business through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building Identify shipping opportunities and secure new customer accounts Build and maintain relationships with customers and carriers Negotiate rates and manage profitable freight opportunities Coordinate shipments and help resolve service issues as they arise Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal team members Stay engaged in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment Qualifications Sales-minded, competitive, and self-motivated Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable making outbound calls and handling rejection Able to work in a high-energy, performance-driven office environment Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused throughout the day Resilient and capable of handling pressure in a changing market Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow income through performance Logistics experience is not required; training is provided Must be able to work in-office This is a fast-paced, competitive, and at times intense sales environment. It can be a fun and exciting place for the right person, especially someone motivated by performance and growth. At the same time, it can also be stressful and demanding. This opportunity is best suited for someone who is serious about working hard, staying focused, making calls, and building long-term success. It is not a fit for someone looking for an easy paycheck or a low-effort role. This is not strictly a 9-to-5 role. Once you build your own book of business, there may be times when you need to handle customer or shipment-related issues during evenings or weekends based on the demands of your own accounts. Interview Process Candidates who advance to the face-to-face stage of the interview process will spend time sitting with current logistics account executives to observe the role and get a realistic feel for the day-to-day environment.
