Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Group Engineering Manager for John Deere, you will provide servant leadership for the Marketing Business Capability Area (BCA). The Marketing BCA includes engineering teams that support the Digital Customer Experience Shop and Marketing Order Code Information (MOCI) product families. Major duties: Collaborate with Product Management to develop product family strategies providing technical perspective and insights Ensure the delivery of the product family roadmaps Resolve major technical impediments and ensure adherence to technical standards Manage talent pipeline, resources & budget for the BCA Foster Agile culture in the BCA, along with monitoring product health, technical debt, and key metrics What Skills You Need3-5+ years experience leading teams in developing and delivering high quality, secure software 8+ years experience working with multiple programming languages including Java Experience in a servant leader role in a global environment Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner easily with a variety of working styles Deep understanding and passion for Agile development process, methodology, and scaling What Makes You Stand OutExperience in: AWS Services Marketing Technology Stack including CMS and PIM UX Knowledge of marketing, order fulfillment or online business processes and technology EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience What You''ll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
