Dry-Out Medics is a growing San Diego-based small business specializing in water mitigation. Our company prides itself on standing out in the water damage restoration field by providing exceptional service to clients during challenging times.
As we've branched off and solidified our presence in the Los Angeles market this last year, we are now aiming to do the same in Orange County and the surrounding markets with the launch of our new Anaheim office. We are looking for a talented Business Development Representative to join our team.
This is an entry-level position. Tenacious applicants committed to learning and succeeding in our niche industry are always welcome. Individuals with restoration experience, and books of business are highly encouraged to apply.
Currently, we have 3 offices in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. We are now looking to replicate that same success by expanding into a new market in Orange County. At Dry-Out Medics, the vision and work culture of a start-up, meets the community-based values of a small business in the construction space. We are searching for an adaptable individual to join our team who aligns with our vision and can be a great fit for our unique culture.
Your success as a Business Development Representative at Dry-Out Medics is dependent on your hunter mentality, patience, grit and the ability to foster and maintain professional relationships. Commissions are endless as you build your book of business.
Responsibilities:
Produce qualified water damage leads by creating referral accounts through cold calls, meetings, tabling and networking events Identify and target new business opportunities with Plumbing Companies, Property Managers, Contractors, Real Estate and Insurance Agents. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends Collaborate & coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transfer of information between clients and colleagues Develop and maintain business partnerships with clear, consistent communication and follow-up activity Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective partners Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated tenacity & willingness to learn Proven ability to negotiate and secure partnerships Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Strong phone and networking skills Join our dynamic team at Dry-Out Medics as a Business Development and Sales Representative and play a key role in driving the growth of our organization. As a Business Development Representative, aside from bringing over existing accounts of your own, you will also be expected to build new relationships and maintaining them to add to your book of business. You will be responsible for working a sales pipeline with activity requirements; identifying new business opportunities by way of cold and warm calls, weekly networking events, setting appointments for meetings including but not limited to; lunch and learns with potential new and current referral accounts.
