Location: near Mesquite, TX (east side of Dallas)
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

Technical Sales Support & Order Management Engineer (Manufacturing) Description
Our client in the data center cooling sector is looking for a Technical Sales Support & Order Engineer to join the team near Mesquite, TX. You'll serve as a central coordination point between sales, engineering, production, vendors, and customers - helping move customer orders from quote through production, shipment, and startup. Our client is looking for an engineer who enjoys organization, problem solving, and cross-functional coordination within a custom or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment. In this role, you will help translate customer requirements into clear internal deliverables, support technical quoting and order execution, and help keep projects moving on schedule. To succeed, you should be comfortable reviewing drawings, specifications, and bills of materials, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and managing multiple projects at once. Technical Sales Support & Order Management Engineer (Manufacturing) Responsibilities
• Own tracking for all open orders, prototypes, and production builds • Maintain project delivery schedules, ship dates, and startup/commissioning plans • Coordinate internal handoffs across engineering, manufacturing, and service • Surface dependencies, risks, and milestone status early and often • Support sales in developing technical quotes, scopes, and clarifications on customer requirements • Translate customer use cases into clear internal requirements • Assist with system configurations and options to match application needs • Review customer specs/drawings/BOMs for feasibility and alignment • Follow up with vendors on pricing, lead times, and deliveries • Prepare order summaries, schedules, and clarification docs • Support factory acceptance tests, site readiness, and startup planning • Organize project files, BOMs, schedules, and correspondence • Improve order tracking and cross-functional communication
Technical Sales Support & Order Management Engineer (Manufacturing) Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required • Experience supporting technical projects or customer orders in manufacturing required • Experience with custom, made-to-order or engineered-to-order products required • Ability to read drawings, specifications, and bill of materials required • Strong organization and multitasking across parallel projects required • Able to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to clarify technical requirements • Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Excel required
