The Engagement Integration Team is seeking an intern to help with current and upcoming marketing projects that engage young adults with Family History in effective and innovative ways, with particular emphasis on collaborative projects with Church universities.
This Part‑time Intern will be responsible for assisting in marketing and project management tasks, including writing presentations and project proposals, creating graphics, and working independently as well as a team on other projects and miscellaneous tasks. The ideal candidate should be creative, solution‑oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in writing project plans for marketing initiatives and activities
Work with team members to write presentations and design marketing materials
Assist with project management tasks, including tracking timelines and deadlines
Develop and edit graphics for marketing materials and presentations
Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions and ideation
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Any major is welcome to apply, but candidates with a focus on marketing, ExDM, project management, social entrepreneurship, public relations/advertising or other business majors are particularly encouraged to apply
Family History experience is a plus, but not required
Strong desire to help engage the Rising Generation in Family History work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other relevant software
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
This is a part‑time (15‑20 hours/week), 4‑month internship position that will mostly be remote work, executed over Microsoft Teams. There will be occasional opportunities for in‑person meetings in Salt Lake and Lehi, if feasible.
