Construction Superintendent
Location: Pasadena, MD (Regional Travel required)
Company Overview
A well-established commercial construction firm specializing in fast-paced retail and distribution buildouts is seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent. With a strong project pipeline and a collaborative project management team, the organization offers consistent work, hands-on leadership opportunities, and the ability to make a direct impact on project success. This role will be supporting the Mid-Atlantic region requiring travel across VA, MD, PA, DE, NJ, and NY.'
Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and inspections across multiple trades
- Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers and stakeholders
- Supervise and support a small field team
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout materials
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating inspections on active job sites
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
- OSHA 30 certification required
- PMP Certification preferred
- Base salary: $100,000–$130,000 (depending on experience)
