CompuNet is seeking an experienced

Contracts Specialist

to support day‑to‑day contract review, negotiation, and redlining activities. This role is critical in ensuring that contractual agreements align with company standards, mitigate risk, and support business objectives across our technology solutions portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound business judgment, and experience working within the

OEM, VAR, or technology solutions space .

Key Responsibilities

Review, draft, and redline a wide range of contracts, including:

Vendor and OEM agreements

Customer contracts

NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and amendments

Lease documents

Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance, and leadership) to align contract terms with business goals

Identify and mitigate contractual risks; elevate issues as appropriate

Ensure consistency with company policies, legal standards, and compliance requirements

Manage contract lifecycle activities, including tracking, version control, and documentation

Support negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors

Maintain templates and standard contract language to improve efficiency

Assist with process improvements related to contract management and review workflows

Reports to the legal counsel and COO

Qualifications

5–7+ years of experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation

Experience in the OEM, VAR, IT services, or technology solutions industry strongly preferred

Strong understanding of common contract structures (MSA, SOW, NDA, etc.)

Proven ability to independently review and redline contracts with minimal oversight

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a high‑growth or services‑driven organization

Familiarity with technology vendor agreements and partner ecosystems

Hands‑on experience implementing, administering, and optimizing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system (e.g., Ironclad strongly preferred)

Proven ability to build and manage contract workflows, templates, approval processes, and reporting within a CLM platform

Experience driving CLM adoption across cross‑functional teams and improving contract efficiency through automation and standardization

4‑year degree preferred

Location Requirement Will be based in the Boise, Idaho area (including Meridian and surrounding communities) or willing to relocate to the Boise/Meridian area.
