Position Overview We are seeking a talented

Web and Digital Interface Designer II

to design and develop intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. This role focuses on creating responsive web interfaces, enhancing user experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in UI/UX design and front-end development, with the ability to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging, functional designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive websites, web applications, and digital interfaces

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs

Apply UX principles to ensure intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine requirements

Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks

Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and scalability

Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design improvements

Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG)

Support integration of web interfaces with backend systems and APIs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum of

3 years of experience

in web design, UI/UX design, or front-end development

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles

Familiarity with usability testing, prototyping, and user research methods

Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments

Familiarity with government or DoD digital standards

Experience with design systems and component-based UI development
