Job Title New Home Consultant Trainee
Job Description The New Home Consultant Trainee will operate a Welcome Home Center under the guidance of a mentor, generating and maintaining a sales pipeline, engaging customers, processing sale agreements, and closing new home sales.
Responsibilities
Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing the company's selling philosophy.
Self‑generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics.
Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact to post‑closing, maintaining accurate communication records.
Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
Ensure maintenance of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes.
Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements This primarily sedentary office position requires occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and moving office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone equipment.
Compensation & Benefits We reasonably expect the base compensation to range from an hourly rate of $20–$25 an hour, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations.
Eligible for bonuses.
Eligible for commissions.
