MAU is hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist for our client in Houston, TX. As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will support and enhance continuous improvement initiatives, drive cost savings and efficiency improvements, and help build a strong CI culture across Advanced Materials sites. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience
BS Degree in Engineering or Business
3–5 years broad exposure to all aspects of plant operations with emphasis on Continuous Improvement, Plant Operations Leadership, or integration
Proven change leader across a significant organization
General Requirements
Ability to implement, communicate, and improve continuous improvement programs
Ability to provide guidance and framework for manufacturing sites to establish best practices
Ability to develop and manage CI project pipelines to meet organizational goals
Ability to collaborate across sites and functions to drive continuous improvement efforts
Essential Functions
Support the Advanced Materials Business Unit to implement, communicate, and improve the CI Maturity Assessment Scorecard annually
Provide guidance and framework for manufacturing sites to establish CI best practices
Develop and manage an effective pipeline of CI projects to meet goals
Assist in implementing, communicating, and enhancing the CI Maturity Assessment Scorecard to support CI culture development
Monitor and support the monthly CI Scorecard to ensure alignment with improvement goals
Participate in site review processes to track progress and ensure CI initiatives are on target
Collaborate with sites to develop three-year strategic plans to drive continuous improvement efforts
Support the identification, development, and management of CI project pipelines to meet organizational objectives
Provide guidance on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency
Conduct Kaizen events to solve problems and improve current conditions
Prepare for and actively participate in site review processes
Working Conditions
10% travel to manufacturing locations
