The Senior Marketing Associate supports the American Girl digital marketing team in executing influencer and paid digital media campaigns. This role requires strong knowledge of digital advertising, influencer marketing, and social media trends, with a focus on campaign execution, reporting, and data insights.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and influencer partners to deliver high-performing marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Influencer & Agency Partnership Management
Collaborate with agency and media partners to plan and execute influencer and paid media campaigns.
Serve as a primary point of contact for influencer partners, building and maintaining strong relationships within the digital creator community.
Coordinate influencer outreach and manage earned gifting programs, including tracking lists and fulfillment.
Partner with retail teams to support on-site influencer activations.
Campaign Planning & Execution
Lead influencer identification and briefing for marketing campaigns.
Support creative briefing for social and paid media initiatives across digital channels.
Coordinate campaign timelines and ensure timely delivery and implementation of marketing assets.
Maintain accurate documentation of campaign schedules and asset libraries across internal and external teams.
Assist with social media content creation to support cross-channel marketing efforts.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Perform quality assurance reviews of campaign assets to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and media platform best practices.
Partner with legal teams on influencer contracting and negotiations.
Collaborate with internal marketing teams to streamline influencer partnership processes.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Support campaign performance measurement, reporting, and optimization across influencer and paid media channels.
Analyze results against marketing goals, benchmarks, and platform best practices.
Assist with campaign billing, invoicing, and financial tracking.
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, influencer marketing, or brand partnerships.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with social media advertising platforms including Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
Familiarity with SEO/SEM platforms such as Google Ads, Amazon Ads, and Yelp Ads.
Understanding of programmatic advertising and digital media buying.
Strong knowledge of the influencer landscape, including nano, micro, mid-tier, macro, and mega creators.
Established relationships with influencer agents and managers is a plus.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
