Commercial Property Manager – Office Assets
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of office assets. This role is ideal for a driven professional with strong operational expertise, financial acumen, and a commitment to delivering exceptional tenant experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining asset performance, enhancing property value, and supporting long-term investment strategies.
This position is focused on commercial real estate. Candidates with experience in office, retail, or mixed-use assets (office/retail combination) are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience exclusively in multifamily or non-commercial property types will not be considered. Experience with construction management—including working knowledge of blueprints, bid processes, and industry terminology—is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of office properties, ensuring efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and high standards of building performance
Develop and execute annual budgets, operating plans, and capital improvement strategies
Monitor financial performance, including variance reporting, expense control, and revenue optimization
Oversee lease administration, including rent collections, escalations, and compliance with lease terms
Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, addressing concerns and enhancing retention
Coordinate with leasing teams to support occupancy goals and market positioning
Manage vendor contracts, building services, and maintenance programs to ensure operational excellence
Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance initiatives
Prepare and deliver detailed financial and operational reports to ownership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial property management, with a strong preference for office assets
Experience managing office, retail, or mixed-use (office/retail) portfolios
Solid understanding of commercial leases, CAM reconciliations, and property financials
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
