Pay Rate: $25/hr - 31.73 per hour Location: Houston, TX 77019 (Fully onsite) Employment Type: Temporary to Hire LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a professional services organization to identify a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the SALT

Unclaimed Property team. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, enjoys supporting high-volume workflows, and is comfortable coordinating across multiple teams. The position offers exposure to specialized tax operations with the potential for long-term hire. Key Responsibilities

Support SALT project setup activities, including preparing and submitting information needed for client, contract, and project code creation once appropriate access and training are completed Assist with STS inbox requests and general administrative coordination, helping absorb recurring administrative volume regardless of staffing changes or busy-season pressures Intake requests and route to the appropriate teams for execution, including expense reporting and CRM input or modifications Participate in centralized STS administrative processes to provide consistent support coverage during peak periods, mitigating workload bottlenecks caused by limited staffing, PTO, or temporary absences Assist with SALT

Unclaimed Property mailings, including letter printing, mailing, and monitoring for undeliverable notices Coordinate with the Tax Administration Manager and existing SALT administrative staff on task prioritization to ensure administrative work is completed efficiently and escalations are minimized Basic Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience

Three (3) or more years of administrative experience required Experience in a professional services firm preferred Software & Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe) required Experience with Oracle preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects and tasks with strong attention to detail Advanced computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation Strong customer service skills with professionalism, diplomacy, and sound independent judgment Process-improvement mindset with a desire to increase efficiency Highly organized and detail-oriented with effective multitasking abilities Ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and external clients Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to assist where needed Why Work with LHH?
