We are seeking a collaborative, relationship-driven Community Engagement Manager to help us connect people, purpose, andpossibilityacross Allegan County. About the Role
The Community Engagement Manager leads ACCF’s communications, donor engagement, and community relationship strategies, growinggenerosityand deepening impact across the county.
Lead and execute a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy
Develop compelling storytelling that highlights donor impact and community change
Partner with the CEO on donor cultivation, stewardship, and prospecting
Support fundraising efforts, including individual and corporate giving
Plan and execute signature eventsincluding Allegan County Gives
Engage and support board members and volunteers in fundraising efforts
Represent ACCF in the communityserving as a trusted ambassador and convener
Collaborate across the team to advance initiatives in housing, education, youth, and more
A natural connector who brings people together around shared purpose
A team player who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
A strong communicator and storyteller with attention to detail
Someone who is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Passionate about community impact and building relationships
What You Bring
Experience in communications, marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit engagement
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage digital tools (email platforms, social media, website content)
Comfort engaging with donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders
Knowledge of Allegan County (preferred)
