Role Summary : At Scholarship Prep, we believe every child deserves a joyful, excellent school where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Strong schools depend on strong systems - and strong systems require strong leadership. The Director of School Operations is responsible for building and leading the operational systems that allow our campuses to run at a high level every day. This role ensures that enrollment, attendance, facilities, technology, safety, and compliance systems are clear, consistent, and effective across all schools. Serving as a strategic partner to Principals and Home Office leaders, this role leads operations teams and drives execution across campuses so that school leaders can focus on teaching and learning. Through strong systems, clear expectations, and consistent follow-through, the Director ensures every school is set up for success. How This Role Makes an Impact : As Director of School Operations at Scholarship Prep, you will shape the daily experience of students, staff, and families by ensuring schools are safe, organized, and running effectively. This role blends systems leadership, team management, and problem-solving to build an organization where strong operations support strong outcomes. Building Strong Operational Systems Design and strengthen systems that support enrollment, attendance, and school operations Ensure clear expectations, processes, and accountability across campuses Lead implementation of systems so they are consistent, scalable, and effective Identify gaps and continuously improve operational systems Leading Operations Teams Across the Network Lead and develop teams across operations, facilities, and technology Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable to results Provide coaching, feedback, and support to ensure strong performance Build a culture of ownership, responsiveness, and problem-solving Ensuring Safe, Functional, and Ready Schools Oversee facilities, safety, and campus readiness across all sites Ensure strong execution of safety procedures, inspections, and compliance requirements Oversee food services and vendor coordination Ensure schools are prepared for key moments including start of year, testing, and events Driving Compliance, Reporting, and Accountability Ensure strong execution of LCAP priorities and required reporting Coordinate state and federal reporting including SARC, CRDC, and CBEDS Monitor compliance with MOUs, facilities agreements, and regulatory requirements Ensure systems are accurate, timely, and aligned across campuses Solving Problems and Removing Barriers Step into complex operational challenges and drive solutions Remove barriers that impact school leaders, staff, and students Align teams and systems to xywuqvp ensure smooth execution across campuses Support schools in maintaining focus on teaching and learning Ideal Candidate : Is committed to Scholarship Prep’s mission and values of equity, excellence, and community Believes strong operations are essential to school success Leads teams with clarity, accountability, and trust Thrives in complex, fast-moving environments Manages multiple systems, priorities, and deadlines effectively Solves problems quickly and ensures strong follow-through Communicates clearly and keeps work organized and on track Experience leading school-based teams, operations, or multi-site systems preferred Compensation and Benefits : $105,000 - $125,000 Zero cost monthly premium options for your medical, dental, and vision—plus discounted dependent coverage options Participation in CalSTRS or CalPERS Additional 403(b) retirement plan with an employer match up to 3% of your salary Employer-Paid Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance, and Optional Term Life and AD&D Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts (health and dependent care) Wellness programs and resources Signing bonus up to $10,000 Eligible hires can receive up to $10,000 in relocation support when moving 20+ miles and closer to their assigned site.
