Were currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong day-to-day client/agency relationships liaising between clients and internal creative, production and technical teams on conception and execution of marketing projects ensuring on-time and on-budget completion. The seniority and title of Client relationships may vary based on Client account. In this role, the Account Manager will collaborate with senior account management to be involved in client strategic direction as well. Travel is required for this position (15%).
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
All lawful directives of your supervisor or a member of Company management.
Project Management
Day-to-day Agency lead for assigned accounts
Maintaining daily updates in internal job tracking tool
Maintain all scheduled deliverables and ensure campaigns remain on track
Maintaining internal and external status reports
Scheduling and leading required meetings
Estimating/Scheduling/Billing
Working with Production Dept. to generate estimate requests based on scope of work
Working with Production Dept. to manage schedule requests and revisions
Generating SOWs for Client review and approval
Managing the billing process (postage, creative, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate payment
Strategy
Collaborate with senior account management to be involved in client strategic direction including, but not limited to, testing roadmaps, creative direction, etc.
Ensure final deliverables align with strategic direction
Data QC & Strategy
Partner with clients on data strategy and ensure data transmittal and content is accurate
Comprehension on how client data business rules and how they drive segmentation, variability, and personalization
Creative Process
Developing creative briefs in collaboration with a senior team member
Scheduling and participating in internal creative reviews to ensure accuracy of creative concepts to brief
Acquiring required client assets including artwork, guidelines, etc.
Setting up and leading creative presentations to client with creative team
Execution
Managing the gathering of all mail data information from client
Continuously relaying any and all pertinent information to key stake holders
Involved in the routing and proofing process throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring the accuracy of changes
Developing and facilitating content-based changes in project matrix
Ensuring accurate data entry and billing of job
Following-up on receipt of postage, data, and mailing of job
Managing any back-end reporting
Research/Reporting
Generate and understanding client reporting needs
Managing the information gathering and implementation of any client-required reporting
required industry/client/competitive research
Client Management
Developing, maintaining and growing client relationships
Leading, scheduling and attending client meetings/press trips whether on-site or via teleconference
Managing client expectations to ensure jobs remain on schedule
Training clients on any internal tools/interfaces
Personnel Management
Managing/training an AC and/or AAM in client-specific processes
Travel is required for this position (15%)
Additional projects and assignments may be assigned based on the needs of the company and/or department
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience from four-year college or university is preferred.
3+ in Account Management or Project Management (direct marketing agency experience is a plus).
Excellent client service competence, presentation and writing skills.
Creative, self-starter, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Track record of working across an organization to get things done.
Ability to learn quickly and think strategically.
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $85,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
