Logistics Specialist - ONSITE

Pay Rate: $20 - $25 (hourly estimate)
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a top industrial technology client. This individual will play a key role in supporting supply chain and inventory operations by coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working onsite in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with multiple internal teams to ensure materials are available, organized, and delivered on schedule.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Work cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Materials Planning, and Inventory Control teams
Manage hardware inventory to meet inventory targets and shipping schedules
Process orders and ensure accurate system transactions
Identify and resolve inventory issues, including stock room and warehouse organization
Support shipping and receiving operations as needed
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material availability

Required Skills & Experience
General knowledge of supply chain processes, including shipping and receiving
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing delivery schedules
Ability to process orders and work with computer‑based systems
SAP experience (strongly preferred)
Ability to occasionally lift 50–75 lbs.
Ability to pass a drug test
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Forklift certification
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
