Temp for 6-8 months with potential to extend!
Rate: $25/hr
Location: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 9-5pm. Bronx, NY 10456
About the Job / JD: The Data Entry Specialist will support an active audit by accurately entering, reviewing, and maintaining large volumes of data. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines while ensuring data integrity and compliance with audit standards.
Key Responsibilities
Enter, update, and verify data related to audit documentation, financial records, and supporting materials
Review source documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before data entry
Identify and flag discrepancies or missing information for follow-up
Maintain organized digital and/or physical records to support audit trails
Ensure data is entered in accordance with audit guidelines, internal controls, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management systems
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and time-management skills
must be able to pass background check and drug test (including marijuana)
