Fulfilment Specialist / Customer Service Representative

Summit Metals is a fast-growing startup in the precious metals industry, specializing in gold and silver products. We are seeking a Fulfilment / Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves handling customer inquiries, assisting with order processing, and supporting shipping and packaging operations.

Requirements Flexability on job tasks, we are a startup company, you will be required to wear multiple hats. Sometimes its talking with customers, other times it is doing emails, other times its fulfillment.
Responsibilities Required to be in person from 8 am to 5 pm each day. (West Valley UT)
Sales calls, cross selling, and up selling products.
Answer and manage customer inquiries via phone and email professionally and efficiently.
Resolve customer concerns related to orders, shipping, and product details.
Assist in packaging and shipping precious metal products, ensuring accuracy and security.
Process orders, returns, and coordinate with the shipping team for timely deliveries.
Prevent Fraud transactions
Review accounts payable/receiveable (clearing orders as paid)
Educate customers about our products, pricing, and investment options.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Work collaboratively with other departments to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
Identify and suggest ways to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain professional, patient, and courteous under pressure.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Comfortable handling high-value transactions and sensitive information.
Basic understanding of precious metals (gold, silver) or willingness to learn.
Experience with CRM systems or order management software is a plus.
Ability to lift and package small to medium-sized shipments when necessary.
Must pass a background check before hiring.
