Job Focus: This role supports the Securities Based Lending (SBL) and Mortgage teams by managing inbound client inquiries, providing product knowledge, and coordinating with financial advisors to facilitate loan processes.
Responsibilities
Field inbound calls from advisors regarding securities‑backed lending and mortgage products.
Assist in evaluating common call requests and recommend improvements to branch education opportunities.
Interact professionally with associates and financial advisors to uphold the Service 1st philosophy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing loan inquiries from advisors or branch support staff.
Advises on basic loan structures when appropriate and directs complex inquiries to senior SBL or mortgage consultants.
Build excitement around enhancements to the SBL and mortgage platforms.
Maintain knowledge of forms and processes required to initiate new SBL applications (SBL Application or Amendment tools) or mortgage applications (Blend).
Identify opportunities to improve productivity within the SBL team.
Manage a shared inbox for SBL and mortgage product information, responding to branch requests and coordinating with senior consultants as needed.
Qualifications
Experience with inbound phone calls.
Retail banking experience preferred.
Client services experience preferred.
Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and creativity.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in operating standard office equipment and required software applications.
