The Role The PM Bar Manager will exceed the expectations of all guests by leading and executing exceptional evening and closing bar operations for Bar Daphne. Serving as the manager on duty during PM service, this role is responsible for maintaining high standards of guest experience, service execution, and team performance while ensuring the bar operates efficiently and in alignment with brand expectations.

The PM Bar Manager works closely with the Beverage Manager to support the overall success of Bar Daphne. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. The PM Bar Manager is expected to uphold Bunkhouse and Hyatt policies and procedures and to actively promote company culture, values, and standards in all interactions with staff, guests, vendors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the closing manager for Bar Daphne, working a flexible schedule based on operational needs

Act as the manager on duty on the floor, overseeing guest experience and directing bar staff during PM service

Partner with the Beverage Manager on hiring, training, ordering, and inventory management for Bar Daphne

Oversee bar production and execution of the cocktail program, ensuring quality control, consistency, and adherence to established standards

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the Bar Daphne space, equipment, and service areas

Be cross trained in Hypsi floor management and support Hypsi operations as needed through cross utilization

Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Furthermore, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and revision.

Qualifications

Prior bar experience required.

Experience in a high volume or cocktail focused bar environment preferred.

Strong understanding of bar service standards and guest experience.

Ability to lead others and communicate clearly during service.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and grow into expanded leadership responsibilities.

Experience as a lead bartender, shift lead, or bar supervisor is a plus.

Previous management experience is preferred but not required.
