About The Role As a Sr. Commercial Contracts Specialist, you will support the application, formulation, and administration of contract terms and conditions. These terms and conditions will be applied to various supplier/subcontractor agreements, inclusive of procurements for products, goods, and services. The goal of this support is to protect Westinghouse's commercial interests and support internal and external customer projects. Support of sourcing in the placement of Purchase Orders. You will report to the Senior Manager, Contracts. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the U.S. There is no relocation assistance offered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance on sourcing related activities during project implementation
Maintain global contract terms template(s)
Provide functional interface and strategic contact to Westinghouse GSCS
Review customer contracts for “flowdown” of requirements to suppliers and subcontractors
Represent GSCS Contracts at project meetings, as required
Provide terms and conditions training support (if required)
Support proposal development activities involving supply chain (if required)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or recognized equivalent required
7 + years project execution related experience in the fossil or nuclear power plant market required
Supplier/subcontractor terms and conditions negotiation experience required
Knowledge of varying contracting forms and terms that align with the scope of the procurement
Hands‑on procurement project supply chain execution experience in all functions
History of interfacing with multiple functional groups
We desire major contract negotiation in the power market.
Procedural knowledge related to supply chain work activities desired
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
