
CAM Fleet Asset Manager

The CFM 56/V 2500 Fleet Manager provides program oversight from a commercial, reliability, and technical standpoint for all CFM 56 powerplant related shop visit removals. The manager ensures that all powerplant commodities are inducted into the repair process on time; reliability initiatives and service bulletins are accomplished in accordance with CAM expectations; audits all financial quotes to ensure that actual work performed is in line with expense and challenges where necessary. The manager audits customer‑owned property regularly, assists with forecasting and sources parts to keep costs in line or below budget, coordinates work scopes with carriers and repair stations, and drives consistent performance and process improvements through on‑site management of contract terms with MROs located in the U.S. and Europe.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of airline and/or equivalent experience with engine type CF6-80C2, CFM56-5B, V2500, RB211-Trent 700 and/or APU programs at an MRO, airline or leasing company as a Program Manager, Production Manager and/or Powerplant Engineer
Proven track record of positively influencing work processes and behaviors in relatively short amounts of time
Strong problem‑solving skills and very strong analytical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Major Responsibility Areas and Duties
Travel required, frequency driven by shop visit schedules at CAM engine repair facilities
Oversight on CAM engine repair activity to ensure supplier obligations are achieved
Ensure all work scopes support CAM commercial and technical expectations
Audit repair invoices
Report engine repair progress with current estimated date for return to service
Additional Duties
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Flexibility to work and travel outside of normal working hours, as needed
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a repair shop environment
Ability to withstand constant to intermittent loud noise levels
Ability to have close and distant vision
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
