Trueline is seeking a

Commercial/Retail

Superintendent

to join their team in the greater Seattle area. This role focuses on leading occupied retail and grocery projects, offering a stable, team-driven environment with long-term career potential.

What You'll Do as the Superintendent:

Lead day-to-day field operations on active construction sites

Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics to keep projects on track

Oversee work in occupied retail environments with a strong focus on cleanliness and safety

Coordinate night work and phased construction to minimize disruption to operations

Ensure quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications

Communicate regularly with Project Managers and stakeholders on progress and issues

Maintain jobsite organization, safety compliance, and productivity

Support successful project delivery from start through completion

Must-Haves as the Superintendent:

5+ years of superintendent or lead field experience in commercial construction

Experience with tenant improvement (TI), retail, or occupied renovation projects

Proven ability to run a jobsite independently and manage subcontractors

Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and site coordination

Ability to work in active, customer-facing environments with attention to detail

Stable work history (no frequent job hopping)

Nice-to-Haves as the Superintendent:

Experience with grocery store construction or remodels

Willingness to travel occasionally within Washington or Oregon (project-dependent)

Experience with night work or phased construction in occupied spaces

Strong communication and team collaboration skills

This Role Offers:

Base salary typically ranging from $120,000 to $130,000

Vehicle allowance ($450-$500/month) and gas card, with potential for company truck

Discretionary bonus
