We are the one-stop shop for property owners in Central NH between Plymouth and Lincoln.In the Spring and Summer, you can find our crew mowing lawns and clearing yards. During winter, our trucks are out moving snow from 100s driveways.Additionally, we also do job-based work including interior remodels, decks, and rot repair. We take tremendous pride in our reliability, professionalism, and quality. Summary THS is a fast-growing construction and property maintenance company based in Campton, NH. We're looking for a lead carpenter who can run a crew, solve problems in the field, and deliver quality work without someone looking over their shoulder. If you take pride in your craft and want to be part of a company that's growing and does things right, this is the role. What You'll Be Doing Leading a carpentry crew on residential and light commercial projects Running the day-to-day on job sites — reading plans, managing workflow, keeping the job on track Reporting to our Project Managers on progress, issues, and material needs Our core work is decks, rot repair, siding and trim replacement, and window and door installation — you should be comfortable leading all of these We also take on additions, interior renovations (flooring, trim, kitchens, baths), and other framing work Problem solving on the fly Managing and directing laborers and less experienced crew members Communicating proactively with management when issues come up, not after they become problems Maintaining equipment and keeping job sites organized and professional On-call for snow removal during winter months - either as a plow driver or leading a shovel team What We're Looking For 5+ years of carpentry experience with at least some time running a crew or leading jobs independently You can read plans, lay out a job, and make field decisions confidently Strong wood frame construction skills - framing, finish, and everything in between You show up with your own tools. We have a fully stocked tool trailer and will make sure you have what you need, but a lead shows up ready to work You communicate constantly - with your crew, with management, with customers on site Physically capable of demanding outdoor work year-round in New Hampshire Comfortable with basic technology — photos, digital notes, simple forms. Nothing crazy, but we use it daily At least 3 references and examples of past work Nice-to-Haves Plowing/snow removal experience Experience with composite decking (Trex, Azek, TimberTech) Siding installation experience (vinyl, fiber cement, cedar) Familiarity with construction management software
