Job Overview Senior Member Communications Specialist (Part‑time) Location: Holland, MI Hours: Up to 29 hours per week Benefits: Select Haworth benefits (not including medical or dental coverage)

On the Member Culture & Communications team, you translate values into meaningful stories, strategy into clear direction, and key moments into memorable connections. You will lead complex communications projects from strategy through execution, developing and delivering impactful communications for both internal and external audiences. Partnering closely with leaders and teams across the business, you’ll work independently to solve problems, guide initiatives, and ensure communications are timely, engaging, and aligned to our vision.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting or equivalent study area.

Associate's degree in Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting or equivalent plus 2 years related experience.

High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.

Military equivalency (reference: https://mynextmove.org/vets/find/military).

Experience

5 years related experience in strategic communication, storytelling, audience engagement and message delivery with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or equivalent area of study.

3 years related experience in strategic communication, storytelling, audience engagement and message delivery with a Master's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting or equivalent area of study.

Ability to work in Holland, MI, without relocation assistance.

Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.

Unrestricted right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with live, virtual or hybrid event production support.

Experience supporting all‑hands, town halls, leadership meetings or large‑scale internal events.

Multimedia collaboration experience.

Strong editorial writing and editing skills.

Multichannel communication experience.

Campaign or project management skills.

Haworth working experience.

Essential Functions

Lead the planning and execution of member communications projects, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.

Develop and implement content strategies for member communications channels.

Manage relationships with external vendors, including printers, designers, and digital agencies.

Conduct research and analysis to understand member needs and preferences.

Measure and report on the performance of member communications campaigns.

Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Contribute to the development of the overall member communications strategy.

Perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.

Use office automation, AI, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.
