Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Dog Groomer position at Beowoof Provisions For Pets, located in the heart of the historic Downtown Kalamazoo Mall in Kalamazoo, MI. The Dog Groomer will be responsible for providing professional cage-free, one-on-one grooming services: including bathing, brushing, de-matting, hair cutting, and nail clipping and filing, while maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for pets. Additional responsibilities include offering pet care and handling, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining communication with pet owners about their pets’ specific needs and preferences.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Pet Grooming, including bathing, clipping, and coat styling
Experience in Pet Care, with the ability to handle and care for animals in a safe, compassionate manner
Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with pet owners effectively
Attention to detail and knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in pet groomingPrevious grooming experience and relevant training is required
