
Real Estate Paralegal

Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 100 firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal.
This role supports a dynamic real estate practice and offers hands‑on involvement in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and complex transactional work.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and related reviews.
Assist in drafting and reviewing conveyance, closing, and real estate transaction documents.
Manage all aspects of real estate closings, including checklists, signature packages, recordings, and closing books.
Draft and file UCC financing statements; order and analyze UCC, lien, and litigation searches.
Prepare entity formation documents and draft leases, purchase contracts, easements, deeds, and related documents.
Perform factual research, prepare reports, and manage filings for special assignments.
Communicate directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction flow.
Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple matters with high attention to detail.
Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage, InTapp, Kofax, Orbital, and related platforms.
Accurately record time and meet an annual
1,600-hour billable requirement .
Requirements
Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred.
5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
required.
Experience in a law firm
Strong organizational skills, client service mindset, and ability to manage complex projects.
Reliable attendance and availability during scheduled work hours.
Schedule
5 days onsite
Start time: 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. (standard weekly hours; overtime as needed)
