Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working on both USCIS cases (such as green card applications, citizenship, and family petitions) and court cases related to immigration law (including removal defense, asylum applications, and deportation defense). The candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English, as we serve a diverse client base. This position requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and can handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and filing of documents for court cases, including removal defense, asylum, deportation defense, and bond hearings.
Maintain and update client files and case management systems.
Draft and proofread legal documents, including petitions, motions, affidavits, and briefs.
Prepare and submit applications for various immigration benefits, ensuring compliance with USCIS rules and regulations.
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies (including USCIS, ICE, and immigration courts) to gather necessary documents and provide case updates.
Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
