Overview

As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in producing comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models that align with project requirements and client expectations. You will lead the creation, refinement, and finalization of designs encompassing industrial and domestic piping, plumbing, HVAC ducting, chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, motor control, process chemicals, and fire protection systems. Your expertise will ensure precise environmental conditions by designing HVAC systems with specific materials and specifications, implementing measures to control temperature, humidity, air filtration, and more. Responsibilities

Produce comprehensive technical project plans, specifications, drawings, and models aligning with project requirements and client expectations. Lead the creation, refinement, and finalization of designs for industrial and domestic piping, plumbing, HVAC ducting, chillers, boilers, exhaust systems, motor control, process chemicals, and fire protection systems. Design HVAC systems to maintain precise environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, and air quality control. Apply established design techniques, exercising judgment to adapt and modify design concepts while ensuring compliance with company and team CAD standards for quality control. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to perform load calculations, airflow balancing, and equipment sizing. Coordinate with design teams, Engineers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to address specific objectives, complex features, and propose viable solutions. Facilitate coordination among various design disciplines to fulfill design package requirements. Conduct field verifications and site assessments to identify, verify, resolve, and integrate solutions into design packages. Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and pump hydraulics Experience in industrial projects such as data centers, semiconductor, healthcare, or oil & gas Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and client interaction Familiarity with ASHRAE 62.1, IMC, NFPA 90A, and local building codes Additional Skills & Qualifications

A.A. or equivalent in engineering or architecture Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, PIPE-FLO, or similar tools is a plus 5+ years of experience preferred Experience with semiconductor or tool install projects Work Environment

This position is on-site, working 5 days a week with flexible start times between 6AM and 7AM. The work week typically consists of 40 to 50 hours, and overtime is eligible. You will be part of a team of about 50 employees, reporting to the Section Manager. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid holidays. The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $48.00/hr. Requirements
